About Craig Frost - Real Estate Agent

Hi, I’m Craig, a director of Frost Real Estate. My days are spent predominantly in the sales space of Frost Real Estate, working with vendors and buyers to get them happily moved.

I grew up in Bellpost Hill, a small suburb on the outskirts of North Geelong, chasing crickets, making slingshots and billy carts.

From a young age I had a passion for sports and spent most of time at cricket, karate, squash or football. I loved the competition that sport encouraged and learnt the value of team mates.

These days my knees don’t permit me to play these types of sports so instead I’m keen to improve my golf swing and spend some time at the gym.

Growing up, the person that I most looked up to was my grandfather who I called ‘Pa’. He took me fishing and to the footy.

“Go Doggies”. Pa loved his garden and we spent hours together turning over his veggie patch, watering, planting and picking. He was always happy and taught me how to make people feel welcome and appreciated.

At 13 I worked on the back of a butcher’s truck for my Dad where I learnt the meaning of hard work and the value of a dollar.

When I left school I was employed as a financial clerk for a short time before joining the police force, which I consider my apprenticeship for life.

There I learnt the value of service, comradery and to deal with some tough things. After five and a half years, my interests changed and I chose to return to study so that I could pursue a career working with youth and young adults.

As it happens, nothing went to plan and a few years later I found myself digging holes on a worksite and scratching my head asking myself how I got here.

One day when I was waist deep in the ground, the owner of the site started a conversation and asked me what I wanted to do with my life.

I answered ‘sales’ and a couple of days later I was selling advertising space over the phone for the Age Newspaper.

This led to many senior roles in media advertising including Sales Manager, Regional, National Sales Manager, General Manager, Publications Director and Sales Director Real Estate – the age, domain and 33 free to home publications.

At 32 years of age, I married Renee and together we have Grace and Noah. As a family we moved a lot of time to be close to work (21 houses) but all of them felt like home because we had each other.

For years, Renee and I dreamed of starting a business of our own and in 2014 we took a leap of faith and started Frost Real Estate.

Having my own business offers me the opportunity to do things right and allows me to use all the skills that I’ve acquired over the years to help people.

I get the most satisfaction from mentoring and coaching people toward a better place in their life, whether it be my family and friends or people I met through real estate.
