Why use me as an Agent?

I have been living and working in Geraldton since 1980 and in the real estate industry with Ray White Geraldton since 2002. After that many years, I have been through the best and worst of times and it is this experience that helps greatly when it comes to making sure transactions run smoothly and efficiently. I take great pride in my work and most of my business comes from past clients.

It is more than just me though. As business has expanded over the years, so have I and now we have a team of four who all have different roles designed to make your real estate experience even better.

My role is to mainly work with sellers and negotiate contracts. I will generally be the person you have most contact with however, all of us will know your property well and should one of us be away, there is always a backup.

Chris van Tiel. My wife! Chris looks after buyers to make sure we give them every opportunity to include your property in their choices and if you are looking to buy, Chris is there to show you properties until you find the right one.

Nathan Van Tiel. My son! Nathan is able to work with buyers and sellers in any capacity however, his biggest impact on our business has been with the promotion side, including social media. We can attribute many sales due to being able to access people and bring properties to their attention.

Nicky Banks. Not a family member but very close! Our administrator who has worked with me for over 19 years. Nicky handles most of our paperwork side of the business and follows up conditions to ensure deadlines are met.

All of us are capable of filling in for each other if we are away so take comfort in knowing there is always someone to answer calls and follow up any inquiries.

On a personal level, Chris and I have been happily married for 41 years (well I am) and have two born and bred Geraldton kids and partners Nath & Rheann, Bec & Joel and four grandkids (Addison, Charlee, Paige & Declan - 5th one coming) and happy to say they are all in Geraldton. We have lived in many suburbs over that time and are now very content living in the middle of town. We do spend a lot of time on our business to make sure you are looked after as you should be and when we are not, it is time with family & friends, drinking good beer and cheap red, (me, not Chris) eating most things, and enjoying what Geraldton has to offer. Golf is my other passion so if you call on a Thursday afternoon or every second Saturday, I am generally "on a course". My phone is diverted to Chris or Nicky during those times, so it is pretty rare someone doesn't answer or call you back quickly.
