The owner had a chat with Jodie who discovered that she wanted to buy a particular property that was selling for $1.7million, but needed some cash for retirement. $1.8million was never going to be enough, after costs. Jodie found her a buyer who made an offer at $2.05million. She told the owner she had 3 choices: 1) Take it off the market for 6 months and let it rest. 2) Do a new campaign, or 3) Accept the offer and Jodie would help her buy the other house. The owner decided to take the $2.05million offer, and Jodie was able to negotiate the other house for $1.6million, leaving the owner with the nest egg she wanted.Jodie’s uniqueness is that sees the value in a property and justifies its value to buyers. She finds the commonality that will bring a buyer and a seller together and works hard to make the sale happen.
