About Lachlan Thoms - Real Estate Agent
Lachlan, Vanessa’s husband, began his Real Estate journey in 2020 as a sales consultant. Lachlan comes from a background of all things mechanical. He previously worked at Brisbane Aero Engineers where he spent 3 years learning the workings of small engine aircrafts.
After this, he progressed his career by working on large engine aircrafts at Qantas where he completed his apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. It was at Qantas where opportunities arose, and invaluable skills were gained.
Based on his dedication, Lachlan received the Harry Hauenschild Apprentice of the Year Award in 2019 and began filming training videos for incoming apprentices.
It was unfortunate when Covid arrived as Lachlan had to choose another profession to apply his already learned skills, what better than to join the family business!!
Lachlan also has his foot in the door with community based projects such as volunteering for Rural Aid. He has been on several trips as team leader to assist in rebuilding disaster struck towns. Lachlan also involves himself in regular charity events such as Shave for a Cure.
While Lachlan had to adapt quickly, his strengths lie in sales and marketing, particularly in challenging himself to assist clients who have had previous difficulties with selling their property.
Lachlan can be described as approachable, honest and down to earth and understands the inner workings involved in all transactions.
He is personally invested and committed to all aspects of Real Estate and aims to achieve excellent results for all stakeholders involved. Lachlan is committed to extending himself in the Real Estate industry and strives to be the best agent he can. Lachlan is also part owner of Gordon Hay Real Estate.
