Born in Cape Town, South Africa, having studied Economics, Martin Maskin is a founding Principal of Raine & Horne, Double Bay | Bondi Beach.
Before launching into real estate, Martin worked as an accountant for another famous Australian brand, Arnott’s Biscuits. However, the property bug soon caught up with Martin.
Martin, who has started penning a book on his time in real estate, brings a wealth of commercial experience to our business, having worked as a Real Estate Practitioner and in the Eastern Suburbs for over 25 years. Over that time, he has sold properties for film stars, sports heroes, politicians and even ambassadors.
In 2000, Martin approached Raine & Horne Chairman Max Raine about taking over our office, the Superbrand’s flagship. Coincidentally, Max had launched Raine & Horne Double Bay as a company-owned office in 1968. Max Raine agreed to the approach, and Martin launched the next phase of our office’s glittering sales and property management history.
Martin says that his life away from the office involves plenty of exercising, including walking with his partner. His passion for soccer led to the real estate ace supporting several local football teams.
