"Born in Warragul Peter spent his early years in the Gippsland area, in particular Modella, Ripplebrook & Catani.

Pete’s family moved to the Goulburn Valley in the mid 1980's where he attended Notre Dame College and later the Shepparton High School. Whilst playing football for the Shepparton Football Club he was offered a role as a Salesman at Daryl Twitt Motors as a cheeky 19 year old. It was through this opportunity that Pete found his love for dealing with people of all walks of life particularly in Sales.

Having a career change after 20 years, Pete took the leap into Real Estate in 2013. In 2014 Cardamone Real Estate was born and now CRE is the Goulburn Valley's leading & award winning agency.

With over 30 years of sales experience Pete’s a passionate man who loves his Italian heritage.

“I am a lover of good food, and I enjoy my families’ heritage that being Italian – Catanzaro is our Provence and I was so honoured and proud when I had the opportunity to accompany my Nonno aged 83 at the time back to Italy. He hadn't been back to his homeland since the day he left, it was the year of 1938".

Pete married Lindi Webb in 1998, and they have two beautiful girls Gabriella & Stephanie. Both girls attended Pete’s old school, Notre Dame College and a proud day for Pete was seeing his daughters play in the A Grade Premiership with their Mum Lindi in 2019.

Football has been a big part of Pete’s life both on & off the field. Having played over 170 games of country footy firstly with Shepparton Football Club then later with Cobram and Congupna, he booted over 200 goals between 1990 and 2002. He also tried his hand at coaching before hanging up his boots and moving into the commentary box in 2003.

An AFL Broadcaster on Triple M Melbourne, Pete started out calling locally with One FM Shepparton. Having called AFL football for 20 years with NIRS Football and 6PR calling AFL football back in to WA. A well respected & talented AFL Broadcaster, Pete has called over 400 games of AFL football including 4 Grand Finals.

Known for his unique marketing campaigns such as the Cardamone Real Estate / Radio Jingle and the CRE Branding...You're in #CardamoneCountry, Pete thinks outside the sqaure and most locals agree that Peter Cardamone has changed the landscape in regards to Real Estate Marketing across the GV area...
