Sam is a proud Tamworthian, having been born and raised in the city.
He traded the country air for the sights of Europe for five years as a professional cyclist, riding with the Australian National Team and then from there securing contracts with pro teams including Drapac and Etixx. He also claimed the yellow jersey in the Peace Race in the Czech Republic - a career highlight for the boy from the bush.
Sam retired from professional racing and returned home to Tamworth, taking on his second passion of real estate.
He opened the doors to LJ Hooker Tamworth in early 2018, following in the footsteps of his mother and father who have decades of experience in the local market.
Sam is passionate about selling houses, knows the growth Tamworth has to offer and boasts local knowledge that is second to none.
The Spokes family is also synonymous with cycling in Tamworth, and now a proud father of two, Sam spends his down time coaching junior and senior cyclists, riding with friends and enjoying everything Tamworth and its surrounds has to offer.
