With a background in management accounting and business consulting, and more than 30 years’ experience in the property sector, Sean manages Affinity Property’s real estate sales and residential projects. He also manages strategic business development activities and is the Licensee in charge of the company’s property management operations. Sean has project managed the delivery of more than $500 million in residential projects over the last 18 years.
Sean is an Accredited Member of REIQ and a long-term member of UDIA QLD. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their property goals and mentoring members of his team to help them grow and develop professionally. He enjoys helping people learn about the process for saving and buying their first home; helping investors understand how to find a good investment property and how to avoid bad investments.
Sean is also a recognised expert on the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) with 16 years’ experience working across multiple different NRAS models.
Previously, Sean worked with Accor Hotel Group and managed a portfolio of 15 hotels across Queensland and the Northern Territory – employing more than 1,100 people.
Earlier in his career, Sean worked in business consulting with Ernst & Young (EY). During this time, he successfully helped Heritage Building Society improve its banking and credit card services to win ‘Money’ magazines best credit card and home loan products within 2 years, between 1998 – 2000.
Sean has extensive facilities management and property asset management experience. As Personnel Manager at ANZ Stadium Brisbane in 1992 – 1993, he managed major events including Brisbane Broncos home games and sell-out concerts with international artists including U2 and Madonna.
