As a boy Walter loved going to auctions with his father and knew, by the time he was 15 years old, real estate was the place for him.
Having children – 3 sons – has taught him the importance of priorities. Family first with soccer, specifically Juventus a close second. However he loves ‘the buzz of Saturdays’ and using his renowned abilities to negotiate on behalf of clients. Walter believes the vendor’s interests are always paramount and will go to great lengths to deliver for them.
When only 19 he walked into a real estate office and offered to work for nothing. Back then it was a ‘sink or swim’ introduction to the industry. Now, 28 years later he is sailing through the opportunities presented in his Boroondara domain. Walter has the exceptional communication skills that are the hallmark of all Kay & Burton operations and specialises in assisting the ethnic market achieve their desired results.
He cooks with a European heart, making his own prosciutto and tomato sauce and pickling his own olives. Walter also puts his considerable energy into raising money for Villa Maria, the Royal Children’s Hospital and families with children with disabilities.
