A lemon is a property with defects or a set of issues that could be structural, legal or positional. It could include a leaky roof, termites, restrictive covenant on renovation, neighbours from hell or other possible dangers lurking about the property. So it’s important that you do your due diligence and get a thorough assessment of a property’s condition before you buy.
